Native Americans used the roots and sap of the plant for a variety of medicinal purposes, leading pioneers to mistakenly believe it was an antidote for rattlesnake bites. This unique white bloom has spikey edges and agave-like leaves.
A similar bloom to Rattlesnake Master, Blueflower Eryngo’s flower has a periwinkle hue, paddle-shaped leaves and does well in moist soils.
Very interesting thick succulent foliage on this liatris with a beautiful spike bloom in fall. Winter dormant perennial wildflower. The most drought tolerant of the Liatris species.
