“Lantana depressa var. floridana is a large bushy yellow-flowered shrub that is endemic to sandy shorelines and relict inland dunes of Florida?s east coast.” – Roger L. Hammer. Highly salt-tolerant?and thrives in coastal environments, tolerating both salty wind and some salt spray, though not direct spray.
A lovely native lantana with compound flowers the butterflies love. The flowers are cream with bits of yellow and pink. Does great in dry soils and somewhat salt tolerant. Salt Water Flooding Tolerance: Tolerant of occasional/brief inundation such as can occur in storm surges. Salt Spray/ Salty Soil Tolerance: Some tolerance to salty wind but not direct salt spray.
